Bhopal: In a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party held today after the Madhya Pradesh assembly by-election results came, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has said something that has made him in the headlines. In this meeting, he said, "We are not among the losers and will start fighting for the year 2023 from now on." He also said, "I thank all the congressmen who have worked with great dedication and hard work in these elections. It is true that the results did not come as we expected, but we are not among the losers. We will fight. We will start the struggle for the year 2023 from now. Next time there are civic bodies and panchayat elections, we all have to be coherence now. ''

Kamal Nath addressed the meeting of Congress candidates, charging and district chairmen of 28 by-election areas besides the Congress Legislature Party. Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and other senior leaders were also present. Addressing all, Kamal Nath said, "I have never bowed down to a congressman in my life. Those who say that Kamal Nath will leave the state, Kamal Nath will continue to work with the congressmen and the people of the state throughout his life. '

Talking about his visit till May 1, 2018, Kamal Nath said, "The only principle of my life is to do whatever it has to do honestly. I came to know about this deal since October, but I decided that I would not tarnish the name of the state by bargaining in the state. '
