Bhopal: A meeting of party leaders and in-charges was held on Thursday at the bungalow of Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kamal Nath. It discussed other election strategies including tickets. Due to this, there was an occasion when Kamal Nath reprimanded Congress MLA Arif Masood.

He gave instructions to Arif and said, "Don't talk about minority here. In fact, it so happened that MLA Arif Aqeel was sitting below the dais in the meeting. To this, Masood objected and asked Aqeel to sit on the dais. For this, Kamal Nath reprimanded Masood. In addition, at present, the tussle for tickets between both the parties continues, in such a way that every worker wants a ticket for himself. Due to this, in many districts of the state, including Gwalior, Congress has also faced a rift with the workers. Talking to reporters on Thursday about the issue, Kamal Nath said, "I have been doing politics for 45 years. Everyone does a good job and wants tickets.

Sometimes there is tension in this way. Everyone asks for a ticket, but only one can get it. We are not taking any decisions to strengthen the organization. State Congress president Kamal Nath said that all the candidates for the civic body elections will be finalised in a day or two.
