Bureau Report/Ratlam: As municipal elections are going to be held in Madhya Pradesh, there is a tussle between the Congress and the BJP for tickets in the municipal elections. Talking about Ratlam city, here many goons from the Congress party, crooks are also standing in the line to get tickets from the party. One such person wants to get the ticket of the councillor on the Ticket of the Congress from ward number 46. Find out what the matter is:-

The case pertains to Ratlam town of Madhya Pradesh where a journalist had gone to drink tea near Jawara gate at around 9 pm on the night of May 31, 2022. When he left, Amjad Khan approached him and started abusing the journalist. The journalist asked Amjad what happened, so in return, Amjad started beating the journalist and his two accomplices Mohammed and Anees also came there and they also started killing the journalist. In the meantime, Mubarik Khan also reached there and started beating up the journalist and threatening to kill him. The reason for the dispute was over the WhatsApp message, due to which the matter reached the beating, now the journalist has filed an application at the police station demanding strict action.

In such a situation, the question arises that if the leaders with such an image take ticket from the Congress and become councillors, then they will develop themselves or they will be able to develop the city. If the Congress, which is out of power at the moment and has to return to power, it has to bring forward leaders with clean image, not goondas, badass elements. If the Congress does not keep such elements away from the party in time, then it will be impossible for it to win in Ratlam city.

Several Congress workers have sent a clear message to senior party leader Kantilal Bhuria, election in-charge Sajjan Singh Verma and party president Kamal Nath that if the party gives tickets to the wrong people, then the responsibility of the defeat will be on the party's own and the workers will also not work in support of such people. The tussle over the ticket in the party continues and in a couple of days, the party will announce the names of the tickets of the councillors, including its corporation president. In such a situation, the Congress should select only leaders with a clean image so that it does not have to regret it later.

Find out who said what:-

When Ratlam Congress district president Mahendra Kataria was contacted on the issue, he admitted that Mubarik Khan has some cases registered against him and his application for ward number 46 has been received which will be discussed, he has not been given a ticket yet.

When former mayor and Congress leader Paras Saklecha was asked about the issue, he said, "I don't have any information yet but before giving a party ticket to any person, he sees his previous record, only then someone's name is finalised."

Ratlam BJP district president Rajendra Singh Lunera said on the subject that congress party is a party with criminal mindset, our BJP is a party with a clean image. As far as the Congress is concerned, there are many criminal tendencies involved in it.
