Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress unit president and former CM of the state has expressed deep grief over the death of people of Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh in a road accident in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. Wishing the injured to get well soon, he has asked the Madhya Pradesh government to provide an assistance of Rs 10 lakh to the victims.
Kamal Nath tweeted on Sunday morning and mourned the accident. He wrote in the tweet, 'The news of the death of 8 people of Madhya Pradesh in the tragic road accident near Sadul Kheda village on Nimbahera-Udaipur highway in Chittorgarh is very sad. Condolences to the families of the victims.' In another tweet, he wrote that on getting the information of this horrific road accident, MLA Manoj Chawla discussed about providing all necessary resources for proper treatment of the injured and the victims of this horrific accident from Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot Ji at night. '
Seeking compensation from the Shivraj government of the state, Kamal Nath wrote in a tweet, 'I also demand from the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Ji that financial assistance of Rs 10 lakhs will be given to all the dead families in this horrific accident and the injured. From proper treatment to their financial help and all possible help should be provided to the victims' families.'
