In India, comedian Vir Das has hit the headlines for his claim that women are worshipped during the day and exploited at night. They are now facing sedition accusations. Many people in the country are currently unhappy with Vir and are calling for his arrest. In the middle of all of this, actress Kamya Punjabi has shown her support for Vir Das. In reality, Kamya Punjabi recently backed up Vir Das's comment, saying, "I believe that India has two sides." There is one side of which we are so proud that we are willing to die for it, and another side for which we hope and fight hard to change. So, what's the problem with that?'

Let us tell you about a YouTube video that Vir Das shared. Vir Das was performing at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, at the time of the video. 'I come from two Indias,' that is, 'I come from two Indias,' was the title of the 6-minute film. 'I am from India, where we adore women during the day and exploit them at night,' Vir says in a clip from his video. However, as the uproar grew, the comedian issued a lengthy statement on Twitter clarifying his position.

'That video is a parody of the dualism of two very different Indias,' he stated in his commentary. Good and evil exist in every country, just as light and darkness do. None of this is like a mystery. This video appeals to all of us never to forget that we are great. Never stop focusing on what makes us great. '
