About her film upcoming film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and said, “The film was scheduled to release on April 27, but due to the VFX in the film, I think it has gone to the end of the year (Jo pehle film 27 April ko aane wali thi, magar hum logon ka jo vfx hai, usko karke, I think it has gone to the end of the year.) The production house is planning to announce the release date in a big way. So, please wait for that.”

Other reports also suggested that the film may altogether be shelved. Kangana had rubbished reports of the film being shelved and had stated, “Yes, we will be completing shooting of Manikarnika by February and will be releasing the film in 2018.” The shot from the movie Manikarnika of Kangana seemed to be very intersting but we have to wait till the end of the year to watch this intersting movie.
