Balaghat: People will be able to visit the forest once again from June 15 after nearly two and a half months of lockdown due to Corona. Tiger safari is going to start soon in Kanha National Park of Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has also started online booking and preparations in these tiger reserves.

Special preparations have been made to welcome tourists at the Man Gate of Kanha Tiger Reserve. Due to Corona infection, this time tourists will have to take care of many things. All the gates of the park have been sanitized. Assistant field director Khare told the employees the necessary things to start the safari. Every person coming to the park will be thermal screened. Vehicles coming to the park will be sanitized. A pond to sanitize the tires of the vehicles has also been prepared at each gate. Preparations have also been made in the resort for tourists to stay. Once used room in the resort has to be kept empty for two days. The tourism department has made a rule not to give the room to new guests for two days after the room is used once. 

Apart from this, the online ticketing facility for Safari is the same as before. Tourists from different groups will be allowed only 4 at a time. Only 6 people can sit in a family vehicle. 12 people will be able to go instead of 18 to follow social distancing in the center vehicles. Now only one guide will be able to replace 2 guides. Tourists below 10 years and above 65 years of age do not have access. It will be mandatory for tourists, employees, guides and drivers to wear masks.
