Noted small screen Kannada actress Saujanya committed suicide in the past. Her suicide case has now taken a new turn. In fact, recently the actress' father has filed a complaint against his fellow actor Vivek and his assistant Mahesh. The Kumblegodu police, who are now investigating the case, are interrogating Kannada and Telugu small screen actors Vivek and Mahesh. According to the information received, Soumya's father Prabhu Madappa has made a statement in which he said, 'He suspects that Vivek was harassing his daughter to marry her.'

The actress' father said, 'My daughter was fine. I gave him money recently. His gold jewellery is also missing. Mahesh did not even wait for the police to arrive and removed my daughter's body from the place where she committed suicide. Soumya's mobile is missing. Once it is found, everything will come out. Amidst all this, Kumbalgodu police searched the apartment in the presence of Soumya's parents. The body of Abhyantri has now been handed over to the parents after postmortem.

Reacting to the allegations against him, actor Vivek said, "I am waiting for the post mortem report. I will not say anything now. I had known Saujanya for more than a year. She used to meet me whenever she was upset.'' Beyond all this, Karnataka Home Minister Aaraga Gyanendra says, "He has directed the police to investigate the case and take appropriate action.'
