New Delhi: Seeing the assembly election results in four states and one Union Territory, veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Kapil Sibal has said that the Congress party should also look at its performance as it could not secure a single seat in West Bengal and failed in Assam and Kerala.

Talking to the media, Sibal said the Congress has not performed well in the recent assembly elections. The party has failed in Assam and Kerela. Not a single seat could be secured in West Bengal. Now that the party is raising its voice, their defeat should also be taken care of. Kapil Sibal further said that he will not comment further on the issue of Congress performance and will discuss the issue at the right time. Sibal said, "We will present our views, but in view of the atmosphere at present, all people from all parties should work together to save the lives of the people between covid-19."

Attacking PM Modi over the corona epidemic situation in the country, he said PM Modi should say that we will win this struggle against the epidemic, elections are different, but it is a battle of life and death. He said the election results of these four states are a matter of concern but our priority should be to deal with the epidemic.
