BENGALURU: Karnataka police have ramped up attempts to apprehend the guy accused of carrying out an acid assault on a 23-year-old woman near her workplace in Bengaluru's Sunkadakatte.

Three special teams have been working to apprehend the accused Nagesh, according to Kamakshipalya police. According to the police, all of his family members have vanished as a result of the incident. According to early investigations, the accused Nagesh organised the acid attack on the girl and then escaped.

Nagesh was apparently in love with the victim, and when she flatly refused his proposal, he attacked her with acid. Police said, the offender poured 1 litre of acid on the girl while wearing thin gloves so that he would not be wounded.

On Friday around 8.30 am., the victim was dropped off at her office by her father. Nagesh, the accused, sat in a car outside her office, wearing thin gloves and clutching an acid bottle ready for her arrival. Because the office had not yet opened, the victim waited outside. She saw Nagesh approaching her with a bottle and immediately began running away. The accused pursued her and dumped the entire contents of the bottle of acid on her. The accused left the scene without remorse after the incident when the girl slumped in pain.
