Bangalore: In view of corona cases in the country, strict restrictions have been imposed on people leaving their homes in most states. A shocking case has come to light in Belagavi district of Karnataka on Sunday. Hundreds of people gathered at the funeral of the horse in a village in the district. The video of the incident is also going viral, with a crowd of people not believing that so many people can gather at a horse's funeral during the Covid-19 restrictions. Police have registered a case after the incident and started investigation.

ANI shared a video of the incident. The last rites of the horse were performed at Mastmaradi village in Belagavi. Many people were not even wearing masks during this time. According to police, a horse belonging to a local religious organization died on Sunday morning. After which the villagers took out a horse funeral procession. The entire village was sealed after the incident and an FIR has been registered. According to police, people will now undergo RTPCR test for corona test. The village will remain sealed for the next 14 days.

Tell us that Karnataka is struggling with the increasing number of corona cases. Due to which a number of restrictions have been imposed till 7th June. About 25,000 people have lost their lives and active cases have reached 4.73 lakh due to the Covid-19 epidemic in the state. The total number of infected persons is 24 lakh.
