Bangalore: Bidar Police of Karnataka has answered questions from students of Shaheen Primary and High School. According to the Karnataka Police, on 26 January, the students of this school did a drama against CAA and NRC in their school. Police say that objectionable words were used against PM Narendra Modi in this drama.

Bidar police have answered questions from about 60 students in this case on Saturday. The age of these students is between 9 to 12 years. According to the report, interrogation of students started at 12 noon and continued till 4 pm. It is noteworthy that the Bidar Police has filed a sedition case against the school management and two others in this case. Those against whom the police has filed a case of sedition include the president of the school and a man related to management. Police has questioned the children in this matter.

The police questioned the children whether they had seen the play. Also, is the school spreading false information on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Citizenship Register (NRC). Speaking to the media, Bidar Superintendent of Police has confirmed that he has questioned the children.
