Bengaluru: In North India where the heat has made life miserable for people. On the other hand, Karnataka politics is also beginning to boil once again. In Bengaluru, Karnataka BJP unit president BS Yeddyurappa and other leaders staged a dharna throughout the night against the JSW land deal. Several leaders of the Karnataka BJP joined the strike.

In fact, the BJP has accused the state government of rigging the JSW land deal, which the BJP has been protesting for the past several days. In fact, the Karnataka Cabinet had decided on May 27, 2019, to free hold 3,667 acres of land, which the BJP has become vocal about.  The case relates to the sale of 3,667 acres of land of JSW Steel Company located in Bellary.

The land at Vijayanagar in Bellary district was given on lease sale to JSW in 2005-06. The BJP has blamed the Karnataka government on the issue. The party has alleged that the government has deliberately decided to allocate land to JSW at a cheaper rate. The BJP also claims that by doing so, the government wants to fill its bag because it fears the collapse of its government in the state.
