Bengaluru: Corona cases are increasing rapidly. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa held a meeting with ministers and senior officials on Monday. This meeting was held on the issue of preventing the spread of corona in Bengaluru. He directed the officials to implement lockdown measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Bengaluru.

In the meeting, Yeddyurappa instructed to strictly implement preventive measures to prevent cases rising in Bengaluru. He directed that lockdown will be done in clusters where more cases have been reported. Especially KR Market and its adjoining areas like Siddapura, Veevipuram, and Kalasipalya. It was also decided in the meeting that the roads around the places where corona cases have come up will be blocked. Those who do not follow the quarantine rules, strict action will be taken against them and an FIR will be registered.

The officers were instructed to determine the rates of treatment of corona in a private hospital. The meeting also decided to set up 'fever clinics' in all wards. The officers were also instructed in the meeting that people who have been quarantined in social welfare hostels and government institutions should have hygiene and basic arrangements.
