Wife and daughter of Karnataka's Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar have also been hit by Coronavirus infection. Sudhakar's father was found coronavirus positive a day earlier. After this, other members of the house were also investigated. K Sudhakar tweeted that his investigation report has come negative.

In his statement, Sudhakar tweeted that, 'Unfortunately, my wife and daughter have been hit by Coronavirus infection, their investigation report came positive. Treatment of both of them has started. Sudhakar told that the son and he was tested, but the report has been negative. On Monday, after investigation, Sudhakar's father PN Keshava Reddy was found infected with the coronavirus. He was admitted to the hospital after suffering from fever and cough. Reddy was investigated, then he was found positive. Now two more family members have been found positive in the investigation.

Minister's domestic assistant was found to be infected with coronavirus, after which he was admitted to the hospital. However, no one in the house had seen any signs of coronavirus infection then. Sudhakar was quarantined along with three other ministers after coming in contact with a journalist who was a coronavirus positive in April. In Karnataka, 249 new Covid-19 cases were reported on Monday and five died. Due to this, the total number of cases in the state increased to 9,399 and the number of deaths increased to 142.
