Islamabad: In the midst of the ongoing Indo-China tension for the past several days, Pakistan has begun to express its evil intentions again. Pakistan has raised the issue of Kashmir again in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said, 'Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi made this comment during a virtual meeting of the OIC Liaison Group on Jammu and Kashmir at the request of Pakistan.' According to the information received, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan said, "In his address, Qureshi has requested OIC to step up its efforts for a permanent solution to the Kashmir issue." As soon as Qureshi told the media about this meeting, the OIC group agreed to make an observation mission to know the situation in Kashmir. Not only this, the foreign ministers and representatives of Azerbaijan, Niger, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey participated. This was the third meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir since 5 August 2019. India had already made it clear in the 57-member group that organizations like OIC should not make irresponsible statements.

Earlier in a virtual meeting of the OIC at the United Nations, Pakistan had accused of spreading Islamophobia in India, to which the Maldives had not only raised strong objections but also said that on social media platforms, the words of 130 million Indians cannot be considered by some people. It is also being said that Munir Akram, the Pakistani representative in the OIC, had made many allegations against India. On this, Maldives Permanent Representative in the UN, Tilmiza Hussain said, "130 crore people of India cannot have the opinion of some people spread on social media. During this, he said that India is the largest democracy in the world. Apart from people of many religions, 200 million Muslims also live there. In this case, it would be factually wrong to talk about Islamophobia.

According to reports, in this time he had said that India has had Islam for centuries. Islam is the second-largest religion in India. Muslims constitute 14.2% of the total population there. He gave a befitting reply to Pakistan's move and said that Maldives will not support any action in OIC which is against India.
