Karnataka's 2nd Vande Bharat train trial run begins on the Bangalore-Dharwad route

The trial operation of Vande Bharat Express train between Bangalore and Dharwad railway station began today morning. Accordingly, the Vande Bharat train left Bangalore station at 5:45 am.

The South Western Railway (SWR) earlier announced that the train with 8 carriages would depart Bangalore station at 5:45 a.m. and arrive in Dharwad at 12:40 p.m. for the Vande Bharat Express trial run. The luxurious semi-high-speed train will depart from Dharwad at 1:15 PM and arrive in Bangalore at 8:10 PM.

As per reports, PM Modi would introduce five new Vande Bharat Express trains on June 27. On the Goa-Mumbai, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore, Bhopal-Jabalpur, and Bangalore-Hubli-Dharwad routes, the other four trains are anticipated to run. According to the government's Make in India programme, these new trains are anticipated to be produced at the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai.

The country will have a total of 23 of these semi-high-speed trains after the introduction of five new Vandabharat trains. The semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express trains are renowned for their plush seats and advanced safety equipment.
