NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to work together to enhance the schools and education system across the country.

Kejriwal said that they might use the knowledge of his government to radically revamp the schools in order to make them better.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, we have done a wonderful job in the field of education in Delhi.  All of Delhi's government schools saw significant improvements in just five years. In five years, schools may be improved nationwide "Kejriwal said in a string of Hindi tweets.

"We have knowledge in this area. Please make full use of our experience in this. Together, let's work to improve the nation ".

Kejriwal tweeted earlier this morning while posting a picture of PM Modi seated in a classroom: "Today's requirement that all political parties and national leaders discuss education and schools makes me extremely glad. Our biggest accomplishment is this. I wish that elections were the only time that education was neglected. In just five years, all of the governments may transform the educational system." PM Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Gujarat, visited a school in Gandhinagar and spoke with students before Kejriwal made his remark.
