New Delhi: The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is going to give a big gift to the people of the country's capital Delhi on the New Year. The Kejriwal government will make 450 types of medical tests free of cost in all its hospitals and health centers from January 1, 2023.

At present, 212 types of medical tests are conducted free of cost by the Delhi government. Sources in the government have said that CM Arvind Kejriwal has approved the health department's proposal to make 238 more tests free in hospitals and mohalla clinics. Sources have said that this facility will be available to the people of Delhi.

In this regard, CM Arvind Kejriwal has also given information by tweeting from his official Twitter handle. In his tweet, he wrote, 'Providing good quality health and education to all, irrespective of anyone's economic status, is our mission. Healthcare has become very expensive. Many people can’t afford private healthcare. This step will help all such people.' It is believed that this initiative of the Delhi government will provide a lot of relief to the general public.
