Kerala Blasters finally got their first win. As the Mumbai FC players struggled against the southern rival because of the absence of key players like, Diego Forlan and Pronay  Haldar.

It took Kerala blasters about 327 minutes, which means three matches that consisted two losses and one draw to finally score a goal. This one goal helped them to strive themselves back into the competition,
