Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Legislative Assembly on Monday unanimously passed "a resolution" and demanded withdrawal of the Union Ministry's decision to lease the International Aircraft Floor located here to "Adani Enterprises Limited". CM Pinarayi Vijayan, while presenting the proposal, said that the Central should revisit its decision. The operation and management of the plane floor should be handed over to the Special Purpose Vehicle in which the State Government has participation. He said that even after the state government agreed to give the amount quoted by Adani Enterprises, the Central's decision to privatize the plane floor cannot be justified.

Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, Ramesh Chennithala, supported the proposal against privatization of the ground floor, but at the same time has imposed anarchy on the government to adopt "double standards". He said that the government publicly attacks the Adani group but supported them by advising a company close to it. He also alleged "criminal conspiracy". Ramesh Chennithala also wanted to know why the CIAL Aircraft Floor Company was not appointed as a consultant.

He alleged, "A conspiracy has been hatched to support the Adani group. "He said," Considering the interest of the state, the opposition is supporting the proposal. After a brief discussion on the proposal, Assembly Speaker P. Sriramakrishnan announced "The proposal has been unanimously passed. ''
