Tamil Nadu – Chennai: Kerala-bound a private chopper makes an emergency landing In Erode, Tamil Nadu:-  On Saturday, a private helicopter carrying four people made an emergency landing on a farm land in Pavalakuttai village in Erode district's Kadambur hills.

While poor weather prevailed above Satyamangalam forest lands, the helicopter, which had four persons on board — the couple, pilot, and co-pilot — made an emergency landing near the Kadambur hills.

According to sources, a couple from Karnataka had hired the chopper and were on their way to Kerala for treatment. On board were the pilot and an engineer. Bad weather forced the pilot to make an emergency landing around 10.30 a.m. while flying over the forest area of the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve (STR). The chopper landed safely, and all four passengers were safe. They plan to resume their journey once the weather improves, according to sources.
