Amritsar: The matter of threatening Union Home Minister Amit Shah by a pro-Khalistan leader has come to light. The Khalistani leader threatened to make Amit Shah's situation like that of former PM Indira Gandhi on Sunday (February 19). The name of the accused is being told as Amritpal Singh. He is the president of the separatist organization named 'Waris Punjab De'. Amritpal had reached a program organized on the death anniversary of late singer Deep Sidhu in the Moga district of Punjab. Let us tell you that the organization 'Waris Punjab De' was formed by Deep Sidhu. Here Amritpal Singh said that every child of Punjab wants Khalistan and it will be accomplished in any case.

According to reports, in Budhsingh Wala village under Monga district, Amritpal said, 'Indira had also tried to suppress, what happened is known to everyone. Amit Shah should also fulfill his wish.' The video of Amritpal's statement is going viral on social media. The Home Minister had recently said that he was keeping an eye on the pro-Khalistan activities in Punjab. Amritpal said that his forefathers have made many sacrifices by shedding their blood for 500 years, which neither Modi nor Amit Shah can remove. They may die, but will not give up their claim under any circumstances. Along with this, Amritpal also demanded action against those demanding a Hindu nation. He said that there is a secular government in the country, so why action is not taken against those who make such statements? At the same time, Amritpal challenged those opposing the demand of Khalistan and said, 'Do whatever you want'.

Amritpal was made the president of 'Waris Punjab De' after the death of Deep Sidhu, the main accused in the violence that erupted at the Red Fort during the alleged farmers' agitation, in a road accident. Amritpal lives in Dubai and came to India a few days ago. He has been booked for kidnapping a Sikh youth in Ajnala, Amritsar. In this, his partner Toofan Singh was arrested by the police. After this, Amritpal also threatened the Punjab Police.
