Ujjain: Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has made a statement recently. He said, "the violence in Delhi on Republic Day is a systematic conspiracy of the BJP. The agitating farmers were not furious, but the police were furious." He had come to Ujjain to visit Mahakal yesterday. He spoke to reporters after his visit. He said, "there was a problem on the Ghazipur border because the Delhi police had changed the route for the tractor rally. The barriers were put there. When the farmers talked about opening, the police lathicharge and threw tear gas shells. For two months, those who are doing a peaceful Satyagraha cannot be violent. '
He also said, "the names of the suspects who have been identified behind the violence should be made public by the government. The farmers have grabbed 15 people and given it to the Delhi police. They have got the identity card to be a government visitor. It was a conspiracy to show the movement on the wrong path. There was no khalsa sect flag at the Red Fort, the first tricolor flag was beneath the Kisan Union and the Khalsa flag. '
Besides him, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said, "The Delhi police, which failed to stop the unrest in Delhi, proves the BJP government's conspiracy by prosecuting the leaders of the United Kisan Morcha instead of prosecuting those miscreants. It was a conspiracy to defame the farmers ' organisations and their agitation. If they were well aware of their plan, why were they allowed to enter the Red Fort? '
