New Delhi: The tour of Australia was over for KL Rahul due to a wrist injury. Although he played in the limited-overs series against Australia, he had to sit out in the first two Test matches and suffered an injury before the third Test. In such a situation, he was out of the Test series, but now on Tuesday, he has confirmed that he is fully fit and will be joining the team for the next series.

KL Rahul is joining the team soon for the home series against England after regaining his fitness after undergoing a rehab process at the Bangalore-based National Cricket Academy (NCA). KL Rahul has tweeted that, "Glad I have completed my rehab. There is no better feeling than staying fit and healthy. The fun of coming back with the players is different and there is respect in representing the country waiting for the home series."

KL Rahul, who scored two half-centuries in the limited-overs series in Australia, will join Team India for the first two Tests against England starting in Chennai from 5 February. In January, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) told that the selection committee has selected KL Rahul in the team for the home series. KL Rahul has not played a single Test in a long time.
