The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, celebrated every year, is starting from 22 August this year. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you about the female form of Ganesha. Yes, all of you have rarely read about their feminine appearance. So let's know about their female appearance today.

Actually, once Ganesh took a female form, whose name was Vinayaki . This name is mentioned in the Van Durga Upanishad. So let's know about the purpose of taking this form.

According to the legend, once the goddess named Andhak became interested to make Goddess Parvati as her half-sister. To fulfill this desire, she forcibly tried to make Mother Parvati his wife, but mother Parvati called her husband Shiva for help. To save his wife from the monster, Lord Shiva raised his trident and passed through the demon. But that demon was not dead, but as soon as he felt the trident, every drop of his blood changed into a demonic 'Andhaka'. God felt that if he had to be killed forever, his blood drop would have to stop falling on the ground. Mother Parvati understood one thing, she knew that every divine power has two elements. The first male element which makes him mentally competent and the second the female element, which gives him strength. Therefore Parvati ji invited all those goddesses who are the form of Shakti.

In doing so, there came the female form of every divine power, who absorbed the demon's blood before it fell. As a result, the production of Andhaka was reduced. But even this, it was not possible to eliminate the blood of the blind. Finally, Ganesh appeared in his female form 'Vinayaki' and drank all the blood of Andhak. In this way, it was possible for the gods to destroy Andhka. The Vinayaki form of Ganesha was first recognized in the 16th century. This form of him looks exactly like Mata Parvati, the difference is only of the head which is made of 'head of yards' just like Ganesha.
