Chennai: A bill was passed in the Assembly on Monday against the NEET exam in Tamil Nadu. The bill came to light after Dhanush, a 19-year-old NEET candidate, did suicide. Even after the introduction of this Bill, the suicide stake has not stopped in the State. It is being reported that a student in the Arialur district committed suicide he has not performed well in the exam. Students who look forward to pursuing a career in medicine consider passing the NEET exam as their biggest goal since 12th. It is mandatory to pass the NEET examination.

It officially started in 2013. In view of the results, a provision was made for the admission of students to all centrally run medical institutions. Now, a bill has been passed in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on the same NEET examination, which will prevent the NEET examination in the state. Admission to MBBS and BDS degrees in medical colleges in the State will be done on the basis of class XII marks. Students of government schools will also be given the benefit of 7.5% horizontal reservation. It may be recalled that CM M K Stalin introduced the bill in the

Tamil Nadu Assembly was supported by Congress, AIADMK, PMK and other parties. However, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remained in protest and walked out of the House. The opposition was seen wearing black badges during this period. Everyone criticized the Stalin government's decision. State that both its disadvantages and benefits have often been counted since the neet exam was officially implemented. Speaking of the pre-2013 context, the purpose of starting this NEET exam was to reduce the stress of appearing for 7-8 exams from within the students. Before NEET, they had to take a separate examination for each institution.

But, this examination eliminated the problem and due to the marks earned in an examination, it was decided which student would get admission. Based on these marks, students are also to be enrolled in medical colleges in the State. The examination is conducted in about 10 regional languages. It is organized CBSE and the course is also on the same basis. People also take these things in a positive way and some talk about their downside. If you look at the opposition to this examination, it is found that the CBSE syllabus is not applicable in many schools in many states, but the students there have a desire to pass the medical examination. In that case, they have to prepare separately. They also have to pay the fee. However, the NEET exam needs to focus. In a state like Tamil Nadu, the NEET was opposed even in the early stages. It is said that earlier also admissions were given in medical colleges on the basis of the 12th examination. But after NEET, the trend came to an end and students and parents were enraged by the move. Some suicide cases also came to light and DMK made election promises on the same issue.
