Dehradun: There is good news for the people and tourists coming to Uttarakhand for the Chardham yatra, according to the information, people coming to the state will no longer have to undergo a corona test. The government has done away with the requirement of the corona test till further orders. In fact, in view of the ever-increasing corona cases in the state, the departmental minister had made the corona test mandatory for those coming on Chardham yatra. At the same time, cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi had also described the corona test as mandatory.
In fact, the Char Dham yatra is going to start in Uttarakhand from May. Now that the corona rules should be strictly followed in that journey, so the guidelines were issued by the state government. The Uttarakhand government had made the corona test mandatory for all those coming on the Char Dham Yatra. Apart from this, the devotees will have to register themselves before coming on the yatra. State Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat had given instructions to the officials in this regard. It was asserted on his behalf that corona testing of passengers coming from other states to the Char Dham Yatra would be mandatory.
