A lunar eclipse is going to happen on June 5 and it will be seen in India as well. This will be a shadow lunar eclipse and if you could not see the lunar eclipse in January, then do not forget to see the second lunar eclipse of this year on Friday evening. The first lunar eclipse of this year was on 10 January. A second lunar eclipse is scheduled to occur on 5 June. After this, the third lunar eclipse of the year will be held on 5 July and 30 November.

Earlier on 10 January this year, there was a lunar eclipse, and now on 5 June, the eclipse on Jyestha Purnima will be the same. A lunar eclipse is considered when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon and the full or partial shadow of the Earth falls on the Moon.

Before the eclipse, the Moon enters the Earth's precipice, which is called Chandra Malinya, in English it is called Penumbra. After this, the moon enters the real shadow of the earth. Only when this happens is the actual eclipse. But many times the moon enters the earth's precipice and comes out without going into the other orbit. Therefore, at the time of penance, the moon image is only blurred, not black. This blur cannot be seen normally. Therefore, it is called shadow lunar eclipse and not lunar eclipse.
