New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has announced the Agnipath recruitment scheme for a major change in the recruitment process in the Army. Rajnath Singh said that under the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme, youth will be admitted in the Army for 4 years. Along with this, they will get a service fund package at the time of leaving the job. Recently, the chiefs of the three services had also made a presentation of the scheme to PM Narendra Modi. Under this scheme, youth will be able to join the Army for a short period of time. The scheme has been named as Agneepath Yojana. Under this, youth can join the army for 4 years and serve the country. Also, under this scheme, youth (Agniveer) will be recruited in the Army for 4 years. However, after 4 years most of the soldiers will be released from their service.
