Kothiyal's open challenges to BJP on announcement of free electricity

Dehradun: AAP leader Col. Ajay Kothiyal has challenged BJP and Congress to open debate on providing 300 units of free electricity to every family in the state. How are you going to give free electricity after they come to power? CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and former CM Harish Rawat are all set to have an open debate on this.

Guarantee of 300 units of free electricity to every family in Uttarakhand: In a press conference at the state office on Sunday, Col Kothiyal said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has also guaranteed 300 units of free electricity to every family in Uttarakhand if the AAP government is formed. This has also put the BJP and Congress to sleep. Energy Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat had announced 100 units of free power. Now they are making statements that they had also made a free electricity plan. But the Central Government has not given its nod.

According to the minister's statement, a free power supply in Uttarakhand will have to provide free electricity to BJP ruled states. This obviously shows that the BJP announcement has only proved to be fake. Sanjay Jain, who is close to former CM Harish Rawat, had filed a PIL on the free power announcement made by AAP. Which has been rejected by the High Court.
