Sehore: The Rudraksha Vitran Festival from February 16 to February 22 at village Chitwalia Hema near Sehore district headquarters in Madhya Pradesh has been canceled. The organizing committee has decided to postpone the distribution of Rudraksha amidst the chaos on the first day of the Katha. However, during this, Katha of Pandit Pradeep Mishra will continue.
According to the news received, a 7-day Rudraksha distribution and Shiva Mahapuran Katha are being organized from February 16 to February 22 at Kubereshwar Dham Sehore near Sehore. On Thursday, the very first day of the Katha, there was a situation of chaos at the venue. At the same time, Indore-Bhopal four-lane highway was jammed from morning till late at night. On Friday, there was a long jam on the Indore-Bhopal highway. People are not even getting drinking water.
On the very first day of the Katha, a woman standing in the sun died at Kubeshwar Dham, while women and men, including many children, have been separated from their loved ones. More than 15 lakh devotees arrived at Kubeshwar Dham on the very first day. There was an atmosphere of chaos due to a large number of devotees. Devotees vandalized 32 counters set up for the distribution of Rudraksha at Kubeshwar Dham. Due to the chaos at the venue, the organizing committee has decided to postpone the Rudraksha distribution. From today, Rudraksha will not be available at Kubereshwar Dham.
