Indian actor Kunal Kapoor is celebrating his birthday today. Kunal Kapoor was born on 18 October 1975 in Mumbai to a Punjabi family. Kunal Kapoor is married to Naina Bachchan who is the niece of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Kunal started his career with the theater of Naseeruddin Shah. After that, Kunal started working as an assistant director in the Hindi world.

Kunal debuted in the Bollywood industry with actress Tabu. In 2006, Kunal got recognition in Bollywood from his second movie Aamir Khan starrer Rang De Basanti. Kunal's acting was highly appreciated by the people in this movie, as well as he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the movie. After that Kunal signed a contract for three movies with Yash Raj Films. He was cast in Laga Chunri Me Daag, Aaja Nach Le, and Bachna-e-Haseeno.

His first two films, however, fell at the box office. Bachna-e-Haseeno did well at the box office. After these films, Kunal made his comeback to the big screen two years later from the film Lamhe. Sanjay Dutt was in this movie. Kunal played the role of a Kashmiri politician in the movie, which was well-received by critics. He performed well in Aaja Nach Le, Bachna-e-Haseeno, Don 2, Welcome To Sajjanpur, Laaga Chunri Mein Daag.
