Kuwait's armed forces are ready for every eventuality: PM

KUWAIT: Kuwait's military forces are ready for any situation, said Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. According to sources, he made the statements during a visit to the Kuwaiti Army's ground forces at Al-Udaire' training range in Jahra Governorate on Thursday.

During his visit, the prime minister witnessed a ground forces training with the new M1A2K tank and was informed on its specs and capabilities to operate in a variety of environments and terrains.

Kuwaiti Defense Minister Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali promised to continue working to improve the military readiness and fighting capabilities of Kuwaiti troops.

He emphasised that the forces will preserve their commitment and loyalty to the nation, the supreme commander, and the faithful people, and that they will continue to make sacrifices to protect and defend the country.
