La Liga president Xavier Tebas has said that he hopes the league season can resume on June 11. Tabas told the media, 'It is possible that the first La Liga match could be held on Thursday 11 June. We want this match to be played between Real Betis and Sevilla from 10 pm. '
Xavier Tebas further said on this occasion, 'We want the league to have only one match on that day so that the teams play for the whole of Spain on that day. 'Tabas confirmed that an official announcement will be made regarding the resumption of the championship in the next few days.
Due to Coronavirus, the championship has been stalled since March. On Saturday, Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez had announced that La Liga could resume its league in the week starting June 8.
