Raipur: The government has expedited the process of sending migrant workers to their homes. Meanwhile, reports of accidents with workers are also continuously coming. A similar case has emerged from Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh, where workers from Mumbai to Kolkata were overturned. There were 26 laborers in it, out of which 7 are said to be injured. The bus was private which was booked by those workers themselves. According to the information, all the injured were admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

According to the information received, these workers came to Mumbai in search of livelihood from Kolkata. They got stuck in Mumbai due to the lockdown. When no resources were made available by the government to return to the village, they asked for money from the village and booked a private bus for about 1 lakh 66 thousand and left for Kolkata from Mumbai. After traveling nearly 1 thousand km, the bus crashed uncontrollably just 5 km from Rajnandgaon.

Of the 26 workers on the bus, 7 were injured, including Farooq Mokol father Pawan 24 years, Munida Khatoon 20 years, Kabir father Samar 18 years, Mukund Kammudin 20 years, Chandan father Gwal 37 years, Dipankar father Gopinath 35 years, whose treatment is being done at the Medical College Hospital. Other migrant laborers boarding the bus said that they had stopped for food at around 9 am on the way. After the meal, when the bus ran again, the bus driver blinked, due to which the accident occurred.
