Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and patron and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav has been admitted to Medanta Hospital for the last few days. He has been undergoing treatment here for a long time. On Saturday night, he has been shifted from the general ward to the ICU after his health worsened. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav visited Medanta Hospital today to enquire about Mulayam's condition.

Lalu Prasad Yadav took stock of the health of Mulayam Singh admitted there. Lalu Prasad Yadav told that Mulayam ji's condition is improving. He told the media that I am praying for his better health. According to the doctors of the hospital, Mulayam Singh Yadav has been admitted in the hospital for the last one and a half months. His health worsened on Saturday, due to which he had to be admitted to the ICU. He is not even eating food. He is being given a liquid diet through pipes. He is being treated under the supervision of specialist doctors of the hospital.

According to sources, In the past, PM Narendra Modi also spoke to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on the phone and inquired about the health of his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. He also said that whatever possible help is needed, he is there for all kinds of assistance.
