India's automobile manufacturer Mahindra is working on its next-generation XUV500 and this car has also been seen for the first time during testing. It is believed that the company can launch this updated XUV500 after the Auto Expo next year. It will compete with Tata Harrier and MG Hector in the market. The codename of the new XUV500 is W601. According to leaked photos, information has emerged regarding this vehicle.

According to recently leaked photos, the dummy is seen with headlight and turn signals. Apart from this, the testing of this SUV is currently in the initial stage, so gradually we will come to know a lot about it. Compared to the current model, it will get a larger grille, it will also be slightly higher than the rear and front. The tailgate and roof spoiler of the new design will be given in the rear. Apart from this, there will be a little sliding roof. The testing of the new model is currently seen with steel wheels and the interior of the XUV500 has been seen completely covered in the leaked photos. It is believed that the company will also offer a new interior and a redesigned steering wheel.

According to media reports, a 2.2-liter diesel engine will be given in the XUV500, which is quite powerful. This engine will give power of 180 bhp and will be BS6 compliant. Apart from this, the engine will come with 6-speed manual and torque-converter automatic gearbox. Currently the XUV500 is available in 2WD and AWD versions and the same can be given in the new XUV500.
