KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik and squash ace Dipika Pallikal are also among the list of power couples. Since their marriage, Dinesh and Dipika seem to be very happy with each other company and their social media posts are proof. Karthik recently made headlines with his outstanding knock in the final of the Nidahas Trophy in Sri Lanka. On the other hand, Pallikal was busy preparing herself to defend her Commonwealth Games doubles gold medal with long-time partner Joshna Chinappa. And, now while DK is gearing up for the IPL 2018 with Kolkata Knight Riders, he bid Dipika a warm goodbye who boarded the flight to Gold Coast for the Commonwealth Games which is going to begin on April 4.
Post bidding Dipika good bye, Dinesh Karthik took to social media to share a series of tweets for his wife who will be sweating it out on the court at the Commonwealth Games. From the messages that DK shared, it’s quite evident how much it means to him to be able to support his wife.
In the first tweet, DK expressed his most important thing in life which is being able to support his wife to accomplish her goals. He also mentioned the time when both of them came home with a gold medal, won by Dipika with Joshna Chinappa in the women’s doubles event after upsetting the top seeded English pair of Jenny Duncalf and Laura Massaro in Glasgow.
