Meg Lanning, who led her team by quickfire half-centuries. Australia registered the highest score in T20Is. And using the pressure of a 210-run target, put England under the pump in the second innings. Wyatt, nonetheless, kept England's charge going but fell right after getting into the groove. She struck three consecutive boundaries off Delissa Kimmince, but fell right after that, drilling one straight to Meg Lanning at extra cover. However, her 17-ball 34 helped England to 54 for 3 in the Power-play.

Even as they had scored more than Australia in the powerplay, England were behind the game all along and never quite gave the opposition a hard time. Natalie Sciver and Amy Ellen Jones stitched a 41-run stand to steady their innings, but couldn't hang in long enough to take advantage of that. Megan Schutt bagged three and Ashleigh Gardner struck twice to derail them off the chase completely.

Sciver's second fifty of the series had little bearing on the challenge that England posed. Schutt finished with impressive figures of 3 for 14 as England wobbled their way to 152 for 9 - handing Australia a 57-run win

Brief Scores: Australia 209/4 in 20 overs (Meg Lanning 88*, Elyse Villani 51; Jenny Gunn 2-38, Tash Farrant 1-44) beat England 152/9 in 20 overs (Natalie Sciver 50, Amy Jones 30; Megan Scutt 3/14, Ashleigh Gardner 2-20) by 57 run
