The X4 "50 Jahre M Edition" was introduced by BMW India in the Indian market for a price of 72,90,000 (ex-showroom) for the 30i variation and 74,90,000 for the 30d variant (ex-showroom). To commemorate the 50th anniversary of BMW's M division, the "50 Jahre M Edition" has been introduced in India. The '50 Jahre M Edition' is anticipated to be produced in small quantities. BMW introduced the "50 Jahre M Edition" before the X4 for the 6 Series, M4 Competition, and X7.

SUV coupes and SUVs are both parts of BMW's "X" line of vehicles. The X4 is an SUV coupe that uses the same basis as the X3. The original "BMW Motorsport" emblem served as inspiration for the "50 Years of M" door projector included with the X4. The frame and kidney grille of BMWs are currently completed in black.

The adaptive headlamps have been made 10 mm thinner and flatter, and as a standard feature, they have Matrix functionality and black accents. The front apron, rear apron, and side sill covers are completed in body colour because the SUV has an M Aerodynamic package. Blacking out also extends to the window belt line, which is typically finished in chrome.

New 20-inch alloy wheels in Jet Black are polished on the sides, and Red High Gloss brake callipers complete the look. Customers may additionally select the Carbon Package and the Motorsport Package.

Sports seats, M headliner anthracite, and an M leather steering wheel are included in the cabin. A panoramic sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument panel, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, and many other features are available.

There are two engine choices for the X4 50 Jahre M Edition. Either a 2.0-litre gasoline engine or a 3.0-litre diesel engine is available. Both engines are twin-turbocharged, and 8-speed automatic transmission is included with both. Diesel engines produce 265 horsepower at their maximum and 620 Nm at their maximum torque, compared to 252 hp at their maximum power and 350 Nm at their maximum torque for petrol engines.
