THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prakash Javadekar, the BJP in-charge of Kerala, slammed the Pinarayi Vijayan government on Friday and warned the Chief Minister and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) about the role of the Governor in a democratic system.
Speaking to the media in this country, Javadekar said that Kerala's Left-wing government is causing chaos. "The Constitution is being challenged by them. The position of Governor is one that is specifically outlined in the Constitution, as is the Governor's function. Pinarayi Vijayan and the CPI-M should be aware of this, but they are not" he said.
"The Governor is referred to by name by the Chief Minister, Arif Mohammad Khan. The Governor has also been threatened by State Education Minister V. Sivankutty, the BJP legislator claimed, adding that "these acts will not be well received by the people."
"And now they claim they are going to lay siege to the Governor's mansion, which is wrong." tyhe former Union Minister said, there was an effort to hurt the Governor at the event in Kannur to inaugurate the "History Congress," and K.K. Ragesh, a Rajya Sabha member at the time, assisted in allowing those individuals to go. Today, Ragesh serves as Vijayan's private secretary.
"The issue with the Kerala government is that they are ignorant of the UGC regulations. Leaders of the DYFI (young wing of the CPI-M) provide employment for their wives. They intend to lay siege to the Governor in order to conceal all of this. The populace will respond to all of this, "Javadekar said.
