It was told that Leopard entered the drainage stream at seven in the morning. When the landlord poured water, Leopard went to the balcony of the house. At the same time, information was given to the forest department by nearby people. The team reached the spot and tranquilized Leopard and imprisoned him. After this, he was released into the forest.

Leopard died by getting stuck in clutch wire: According to information received, a Leopard died by getting stuck in the clutch wire of a scooter near Kemrasaud of Bhilangana block in Tehri district. In Kamerasaud, the forest department has started investigating who had installed the clutch wire near the field and why.

It has been learned that on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 10.30 am, people saw a Leopard stuck between the wires at some distance from Kemrasaur ITI. On the information of the villagers, forest department officials reached the spot with a cage. As soon as the forest personnel tried to remove the trapped strands in the clutch wire by tranquilizing them, Leopard succumbed. Range officer BP Badhani said that the clutch wire was stuck in Leopard's stomach, which led to his death. The dead male Leopard was about a year old. Who installed the clutch wire and for what purpose it is being investigated.
