Jabalpur: Sometimes we all come across some news that hurts our hearts and which we don't like to read at all. Now one such news has come from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The painful picture of a young man from here is fast going viral. The young man in this picture is a mentally challenged young man who has been chained for many years. Yes, his family members are said to have appealed to the district administration several times for treatment but the result failed. This picture is of a young man living in Baghraji village, about 40 kilometers from Jabalpur city, who spent the past several years of his life shackled.

The young man is mentally retarded and people are afraid that he can attack anyone on the way. Family members say he runs away from home several times, which is why he was tied to shackles. For many years, the young man has been chained to his hands and feet. The family of the crazy youth is said to be poor and his parents took care of the madman for a few years but his parents passed away three months ago. Now the younger brother and sister-in-law of the crazy are raising him.

On the other hand, the Sarpanch of Baghraji Panchayat says, "Whatever the scheme of the Gram Panchayat is given to him, he has not been sent for treatment, which has not improved his status so far.'' However, in this case, former Social Justice Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria says, "This is a very condemnable act in the society which will be discussed with the Jabalpur Collector for the treatment of the crazy youth.''
