Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born on this day i.e. 17th September 1950 in Gujarat. Narendra Modi has a total of 6 siblings, of which Modi is third. The 14th PM of India had a very difficult childhood. No one thought that a tea seller would ever become the prime minister of the country. Narendra Modi did his MA in Political Science. From an early age, he was very inclined towards the Sangh and had a strong base of RSS in Gujarat.

Tell you that PM Narendra Modi always used to play near Shramishtha Lake in Gujarat when he was young. He didn't know that there were a lot of crocodiles in that lake. Once a crocodile tried to catch Modi while playing. Modi, meanwhile, was very seriously injured. But he did not give up and managed to get himself out of the crocodile's clutches. Narendra Modi's father used to sell tea at Vadnagar railway station. As a child, Modi used to go to the shop to help his father whenever he got time from his studies.

There is no doubt that many times we have all seen Narendra Modi in a variety of looks. In fact, Modi's interest in style was slightly different from childhood. Sometimes he grew his hair and sometimes he looked like a Sardar. Not only that, but he is also very crazy about theatre. Narendra Modi used to participate in activities in a big way during his school days and also played his role with great effort. As a child, PM Narendra Modi loved to see saints. Modi himself wanted to become a sannyasi. Narendra Modi had fled home after school to become a sannyasi and in the meantime, he roamed around several places including Ramakrishna Ashram in West Bengal, and finally reached the Himalayas and roamed with the sadhus for several months. For your information, let us further mention that when the earthquake in Gujarat claimed 20,000 lives in 2001, political power also changed in the state. The then CM Keshubhai Patel had to step down due to pressure. After which Modi was given the command of the state in place of Keshubhai Patel, after which Modi never looked back.

Shortly thereafter, about 1,000 to 2,000 people were killed in riots. Modi was accused of inciting riots. It was also alleged that he could have stopped the riots if he wanted to, but he did nothing like that. In 2005, Modi was accepted by the US for granting him a visa. Not only that, Narendra Modi was associated with RSS since childhood. On Deepawali in 1958, Laxman Rao Inamdar alias Vakil Saheb, the first state pracharak of Gujarat RSS, administered the oath of child volunteer to Narendra Modi. Modi started going to the branches of the RSS. But when Modi opened a tea shop, his visits to the branches had almost stopped. By 2012, Narendra Modi's stature in the BJP grew so big that people started seeing him as the party's PM candidate and on December 20, 2012, Modi again won a majority and played the sting of his power for the third time in the state.
