New Delhi: These days the weather is getting to see a reshuffle. It is being said that there is a possibility of light rain in the capital Delhi and its neighbouring cities on the next two days. Recently an official of the Meteorological Department has given information about this. Today, the official has said, "Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received fresh snowfall due to western disturbances."
An official of the India Meteorological Department recently said, 'After passing the Western Disturbance, icy north-westerly winds from the snow-covered Himalayas may cause a drop in temperature in the plains. The minimum temperature is expected to fall to 8 degrees Celsius by Monday. The minimum temperature in the city today has been recorded at 10.9 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 29 degrees Celsius.
The air quality in Delhi has been filed in the 'very poor' category today. However, it is expected to improve after a light rain and wind speed is forecast for the next two days. Delhi's air quality index (AQI) remained at 304 till 10 am. The 24-hour average index was recorded at 358 on Wednesday.
