Ahmedabad: Like Uttar Pradesh, the police in Gujarat have started preparing to recover the damages from the rioters. The state government has instructed the police to explore the possibility of recovering damages to compensate for the loss of public and private properties due to anti-CAA riots in Khambhat. The Uttar Pradesh Police has issued notices to the rioters to recover damages for anti-CAA violence. Recovery has also been made at many places on this matter.

Gujarat's Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja has informed in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday that the Chief Minister has instructed the State Police to explore the possibilities of recovering the loss. A week ago in the Assembly, there was a strong debate in the ruling BJP and the opposition Congress on the issue of anti-citizenship amendment law (CAA) riots and Shaheenbagh in Khambhat and Anand districts.

The Minister of State for Home has told that 115 people have been arrested by filing 9 cases in connection with the Khambhat riots. Police, SRP, RAF, and CRPF have been deployed there. Jadeja has told that some gangs want to threaten people and occupy their immovable properties, but the government will not let this happen.
