New Delhi: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia tells the Delhi High Court that the CBI wants me to follow their wishes. By making the same statement as they do, I become guilty. But I am not going to follow them. I will answer their questions as per my wish. I am guaranteed by the Constitution that I should answer the questions of the investigating agency in my own way.

Manish Sisodia argued that the agency's contention that he is not cooperating with them in the investigation cannot be the basis for the cancellation of bail. The agency says that I am not answering their questions. The former Deputy CM has challenged the trial court's decision in the High Court, in which he was denied bail. Sisodia says that whatever allegations have been levelled against him, they are only on paper. The CBI has not yet found any concrete evidence from which it can be said that the amount of crores is with them or is about to come. His argument was that in the CBI case, all the accused except him have been released on bail.

Advocates Daya Krishnan and Mohit Mathur appeared on behalf of Sisodia in the court of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma of the Delhi High Court. Additional Solicitor General SV Raju presented the CBI's stand before the court on Wednesday. Justice Sharma today asked the ASG to explain how the excise policy works. He said that the CBI should also call its investigating officer. He will also explain this in detail in court.
