The Delhi government says that shops will be opened only in those places which are located in the locality, except for the hotspots. For this, the guidelines issued by the Union Home Ministry will be fully followed. A list of such shops is being prepared for this. However, the restrictions on the shops located in Delhi's malls and big stores will continue as before. The Kejriwal government has allowed Delhi Tourism and Transportation Corporation (DTDC), Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation, Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited and Delhi Consumer Co-operative Wholesale Store to open liquor shops in the state. There are around 450 liquor shops all over Delhi, except for the mall.
