The storage and supply network of Covid vaccine in the country and the world has also been taken up expeditiously. On the direction of the Central Government in India, the States have issued elaborate preparations and there is also a listing of health workers who are the first to be vaccinated with the Covid, which is absolutely free.  For which an app is being prepared. The experts are also going to point out India's limitations and difficulties in the case of storage and supply.

As per the information received, elaborate preparations are being made for the storage of the Covid vaccine in India. On the direction of the Central Government, all the states are being provided with a proper number of cold storages. In which the Central government is also helping the states. The Maharashtra government said that the centre is helping to provide 150 deep freezers to increase storage capacity along with large refrigerators, coolers and snow refrigerators on the go. It has been revealed that the existing storage system in the districts is being monitored. Large scale ice refrigerators are being developed in primary health centres of the state, and the maintenance work is being done.

Pfizer said, "The Covid-19 vaccine will need to be stored at -75°C±15°C." This means that millions of doses have to be increased to store in temperatures close to -90°C to -60°C," the company's spokesperson told media. According to the experts, no country in the world has preparations for this. The corona vaccine will be costly and its storage and delivery arrangements will be a major challenge, says the experts.

He further said, "The normal capacity of the existing cold storage in India is 4 to 5 crore vaccine doses. India has prepared a cold chain for storing polio vaccine. The storage of polio vaccine requires a temperature of -20°C and is going to be distributed in temperatures from 2°C to 8°C. The experts are also pointing to the problem of electricity in India. They say that mere increasing the refrigeration capacity will not work, it will also require a large amount of electricity. However, there is also an estimate that there should not be a problem like transportation of vaccine in India and supply of logistic capacity and dry ice for maintenance.
